I keep trying to alter the time in admin but it wont chage on the forum. I am uk based so want GMT but it is an hour out. the time here currently is 16:15 and on the forum it would say 03:15pm for GMT. I have tried going an hour later etc.
Is there another way of altering this?

Have you enabled daylight saving ?
Also check to see what timeset you have selected in your usercp

Enable Daylight Savings Time correction.
Hello,
The settings for the time are individual for each user, you can set it under User CP > Edit Options > Date and Time Options.
From there you can alter it to display correctly.
The default timezone in the Admin CP only applies to Guests and newly registered users.
