I delete install folder and permission folders are 755 and files are 644.
but sometimes show this error:

MyBB Internal Error
MyBB has experienced an internal error and cannot continue.

Error Type:
MyBB Error (42)
Error Message:
Your board has not yet been upgraded. Please do so before attempting to browse it.
Please contact the MyBB Group for technical support.


and at this point, the database size is 80 kb.

my forum is on the sub domain
forum.mydomain.com
and permission of it is 750
public_html/forum

mybb 1.8.7
CENTOS 6.8 x86_64 kvm
cpanel 58.0.27

What's your domain?

Was the upgrade script necessary in your particular upgrade, and did you run it before you deleted /install?

yes, serveral times run it.
and my site working good for serveral day.
I feel hacked my site. today show this error for 15 times and I restore database every time.

what is your forum url ?
looks like you have database backup of old version & when you restore it obviously system prompts for upgrading
