Yeah, it has been for ages. It's cause of the link to msgplus.

It's the msgplus download - It seems it's picking up it's sponsor as spyware.

They say it is from the sponcer program within

Well the sponsor program is annoying because it puts popup adverts everywhere and that is what they home in on. The fact that it is optional is overlooked.

Ugh the only thing it found wrong is MsgPlus and even MsgPlus isn't wrong. McAfee is wrong

McAfee is a joke of a company - I've had some personal dealings with them and that's all I'll say.

I've removed the Messenger Plus! download as it is very outdated anyway.

No...it means its adware:

In our tests, we found downloads on this site that some people consider adware, spyware, or other unwanted programs.

There's a difference between optional adware and forced adware >.>
