Hi I want to move over to Mybb when I know of a working converter but have a question. On my present forum PHPBB 3 is only gives the proxy IP and not the real IP so is wide open to spammers & trolls so does mybb do this or do you get the real IP ?

We consider $_SERVER['HTTP_X_FORWARDED_FOR'] and $_SERVER['HTTP_CLIENT_IP'] before using $_SERVER['REMOTE_ADDR'] as a last resort.

So if I installed the forum could I have this on my forum as allot of ISPs in England use proxies so you could end up banning innocent people etc
