Ok so here is my issue :

When i use the default mybb theme the cookie mybbuser which keeps my users logged in gets created and all is normal . When i use another 3rd party theme everything works fine i can login etc but the cookie mybbuser never gets created . Can you point me into what template i should look for this issue ?

This won't be anything to do with the theme, unless the login form isn't going to right place... when you say you can log in, do you actually stay logged in? Because that wouldn't happen if the mybbuser cookie didn't exist.

I am staying logged in until i close the browser. And i have checked my cookies manually , when i login using the theme there is no mybbuser .

The theme has no bearing on what cookies the PHP sets though, the theme is just HTML and CSS. Can you give your URL and a test account?
