Well the spam on my site is really starting to get to me. So I decided to turn on the CAPTCHA. But even once I have done that I see no images displayed or anywhere to enter the information if a image was displayed while setting up a new account. I checked my files on the server and the CAPTCHA folder is there.

Also I just noticed it said
"CAPTCHA Images for Registration & Posting" do people have to enter something to post even once they have registered or once they have registered do they never have to enter a Captcha?

Once people register they don't have to enter a CAPTCHA every time they post, that's only for Guests.
OK well the CAPTCHA does not seem to show up while registering and i am trying to figure out why.
Make sure it's enabled in admincp settings.
The next thing is to make sure your host offers GD support. You can view the phpinfo page in admincp. Look for GD.
