Clear your cookies. Also what is your site?
clear your cookies see if that helps
I'd also check if your cookie settings are correct.

I didnt fully understand the advice that destroyer gave me on my initial problem.
All working sweetly now.
It will become clear of you read that wiki page. I once had a problem like yours and it was because I had specified wrong cookie settings.
