Is there a mod that sends a welcome pm to a new user?

sadly it wont work. i have installed it how it said to, activated and even changed the message but when i joined as a new user i got no pm.
You can enable the message for guests and/or registered members. Make sure that everything is correct.
Can you go to Admin CP --> Maintenance --> Cache Manager and view the cache for "pmonreg_errors" and post here a copy of it.

I had that too, Awaiting Activation Group Permission [ Can Use Private Messaging ] must be set to "Yes" i thought was the solution
