Just edit the plugin file in inc/plugins and change the compatibility to 1.8. Save it and upload then activate.
plugin was coded for an older version of MyBB - it is not working on recent versions of MyBB

Okay I'll have a look then because I converted all of his plugins to be on 1.8. You'll have to wait till I'm home though.
