I have installed a mybb board.

1. Created a category.
2. Created a forum
3. Created 12 child forums under above forum
4. Created more 20 child forums under abover childforum.

Now I wants to repeat option no's 2,3, & 4 for 80 times

Doing this all manually can take several hours / days.

is there any way to make a clone copy of first forum and later we will manually just rename the forum.

Note that name of first forum "option # 2" required different but names of other 12 "option 3" and 20 forum "option # 4" is required same. status of all forums is not required same each forum has its seperate status.

for details visit this url sellobuy.in

first forum is "Ahmedabad" and there are several child forums under it.

i wants to add the same all child forums under other forums also.

I have found a mybb mod which can solve my issue but that is very old and not compatible with current mybb version.

The conventional wisdom is that you don't create forums or sub-forums until you have enough traffic to justify them.

Personally I would create a smaller number of forums, the sub-forums you have listed under Bangalore would be plenty, and allow users to post in them using a thread prefix to identify the city/region concerned.
Users could then filter by prefix to see only, say, Automobile ads in their area.

When you have thousands of members with tens of thousands of posts the system you are currently proposing would be better, until then it's going to be an un-navigable jungle of empty forums.
I think the ubuntu forums has too many sub forums

And they have enough traffic to justify them.

@OP
What you are proposing is too confusing for new users. As a new forum...you shouldnt be creating any more than 10 forums at max. Skip the sub forums for now. Do you really expect users to scan through all those forums?

As for the mod is not compatible? Are you aware of changing 1.6* -> 1.8* in compatibilty to allow to install?

Agreed, but the visitors to Ubuntu forums are going to be very computer savy whereas the person in the OP's forum simply trying to buy or sell a secondhand bicycle may not be. You have to tailor your forum to its intended audience.

That strengthens that point even more to the OP. If people find ubuntu forums to be too many sub forums and they are computer savy...then how many forums does a non-computer-savy person find to be too many?

...That is a rhetorical question.
is there anything in mybb 1.8 similar like my mentioned old mod.

i dont have that mod installed. But what problem are you having if you install this mod? Usually you can just tweak a mod to work in 1.8
I have faced the same problem which has discussed in this thread

Yeah thats a little more involved than just tweaking
