So I recently installed DVZ shoutbox and every time I type a message and press enter it refreshes the page and nothing happens. I'm also running PHP 5.6 and Mybb 1.8.7, the theme I am using as well is one I purchased which is Neon Glow by Audentio Designs.

I have installed the CSS from styles.txt already.

Is it working in the default theme?

No, we tried on the default theme and it wasn't working either. Every time we added DVZ Shoutbox back into our forums it would disable a lot of features such as our text editor, inline moderation options, and our website wouldn't load correctly as if it was caching a different version of the site.

you must of installed it wrong. Try to revert (if you have snapshots), and retry to make sure all the correct files go to the correct location...as well as the CSS in the correct location. Make sure not to miss a tag close.
