ON mybb you have to go to the destination thread and copy the URL, (if using Google SEO...then you have to reply screen just to get the URL ID too), then you have to go back to the source thread and select your post(s) and hit (move posts). Then you get an input box that you have to copy that destination thread to. The same situation as merge threads. (usually you are on the source thread so you do not have the destination one at hand easily).
EDIT I got that wrong. The input box is source URL....and you have to select move posts on the destination URL (which you are always on the thread of the source) See this is always confusing...
on PhpBB you just select from mod tools (move posts) on the source thread. Then you select your posts you want to move, then you get a list of threads for the destination. These have a link in front of it thats says (merge into)...meaing once you click that merge into...that is the destination thread. This process seems a whole lot simpler than the mybb process.
I would like a plugin that similates the phpbb process.
