I have reports from users (and one admin) that you sometimes get

You don't have permission to access /newthread.php on this server.

when trying to create a thread, starting with a post that contains inline image attachments.

Has it happened to others?

Further investigation shows that this is the "modsecurity" layer overrreacting. Changed the rule from "deny" to "pass, auditlog" in the modsecurity configuration.

It is indeed a well-known issue with Mod_security.

Yes, fixed. Makes me wonder what the purpose of this rule is since it seems to have been disabled everywhere.
