I'm trying to use a zoho mailbox to send emails via smtp from my website tankfootball.com. I've entered all the necessary settings, but when sending mail from it, nothing happens and I get no error messages in system mail logs. however, if I enter the wrong mailbox password into my mail settings I get the "Authentication Failed" error as expected. I've used both SSL and TLS encryption modes, changing the port to what's specified by zoho for each, with the same result.

Maybe all mails goes in Spam folder, did you tried disabling the Add Message id in email option?.

I have been checking in my spam folder for the emails. and disabling the message ID has no affect. Also, my mailbox shows nothing has been sent.

Maybe try different email provider like targethero.
