Full Version: I messed up my Admin CP

I'm running 1.2.7 and none of the Board/Welcome message plugins worked, so I created a category and stupidly put a bunch of HTML in them to simulate a 'Welcome' message, and now all the links in the admin CP open up in the main frame instead of the normal frame, so if I want to get to the links bar on the left, I have to use my browser's back button. Is there a way to fix this without (removing the HTML or the entire category didn't work) and still keep my poorly-done welcome message?
All welcome message plugins do work... don't you have any back-ups?
Yes, but not of my admin cp, only the forums. All of the plugins gave me an SQL error...
Your best bet is to correct this using phpmyadmin. Find the columns where you have edited the templates and undo it.
I didn't edit anything, I just created a forum with HTML tags in its name and description. Besides, it seems to have magically fixed itself.
