settings.php is generated automatically whenever you edit the settings in the ACP.

ive tried everything but when i click settings, theres nothing, just plugin settings

can you tell us whether automatic (one click) installer was used to install your MyBB forum ..
if you have a legit forum (see support eligibility policy) then
