Hi folks

In the upgrade instructions here https://docs.mybb.com/1.8/install/upgrade/ we are told to run /install/

In the documentation which is enclosed with the mybb1808 download we are told to run /install/upgrade.php

Do both these instructions work or is one of them wrong?

Also the downloaded documentation says not to upload inc/settings.php - but this isn't mentioned in the wider upgrade instructions?

if ~/install/ is used then upgrading option needs to be selected.
~/install/upgrade.php is direct link for upgrading.

if ~/inc/settings.php file is uploaded then later its contents will be restored from the database.
(initially settings.php file is a blank file in the installation / upgrading pack)
