Hi Folks

So, when the "install" has been successfully run on upgrade to 1.8.8........I have a set of templates for each theme some of which have been customised.

Am I correct in assuming that the upgrade won't have updated these templates - just the global & default ones?

I've read the instructions on "diff" report etc - but presumably "reverting" templates will update them to 1.8.8 but lose all my customisations.

I was thinking of generating a new set of templates per theme - then I will still have the old templates to copy across my customisation code from

Would that be a runner - or have I not understood what is going on? (always possible!)

custom themes templates are not updated by the upgrading system.
you can export existing custom themes and work on updating the templates at your convenience.
