Is it okay to use cometchat or chatwee modules with mybb? As there is no similar plugin for mybb, if one want a feature like that, would you recommend using any of these?
I am asking because I'd like to know will there be any downfall of using those plugins with mybb? Will they affect the speed of the forum or will they increase the server load or bandwidth etc.
Have you ever seen any mybb community using any of those software?
I really don't recommend using modules that require payment to use because MyBB itself is free. There are some plugins on the site such as DVZ Shoutbox that don't require payment.

You can have CometChat plugin installed on your MyBB website. All you need to do is upload CometChat Plugin from your Extension Manager.

But shoutbox doesn't serve the purpose of a chat module, no private chats etc.
Is something like that in the queue for mybb? Maybe in 2.0?
