I think that a nice little touch up that can be added to MyBB 2.0 would be to update MyBB from the Admin Panel (maybe even give an option to update automatically). Currently you have to upload new files over FTP. With an admin panel based updater updates would be faster. I understand that sometimes updates can cause issues with plugins. I am interested in your feedback

Yes, this has already been suggested. The security concerns far outweigh the benefits for us at the minute.
