I was just wondering -- if I set my private message limits to a lower number and members are storing an amount that exceeds that, what happens? Does it just let them know that their PM box is full or will it cause errors?

you could test it, but I think the oldest pm's will be deleted automaticly.
PMs keep going through to the user.
The user is able to send more PMs regardless of their inbox being full.
I had my storage at 950% full and was still able to send/receive more PMs.
I did it and there seems to be a glitch. I have members that are far below the limit and clearing things out, but they still get a big red warning that says their inbox is full.
This was fixed in internal testing a while ago for the next release of MyBB.
