MyBB Community Forums - Problem upgrading

Ok, I was following the Wiki instructions on upgrading, and this is not my first time upgrading, I've done it before and I've never had problems. But today things changed.

After I uploaded the new files, I went to install/upgrade.php and nothing came up, its just plain white and it's not attempting to load anything.

I am upgrading to 1.2.8 from 1.2.7.

I tried re uploading the folders, and files, but I keep getting the same thing.

Any ideas what's going on? Any help is greatly appreciated. Thanks

Edit: My Forum works perfectly and when I go to the Admin CP, everything works fine and it says version 1.2.8, but I never actually runned the upgrade script. Also, checking the logout link, I still see the old link from 1.2.7

I hate to ask the obvious, but are you sure you uploaded the install folder?? Wink

If you did, then maybe you should reupload it!

Of course, and I have done this a million times.

Well, something must be missing or you wouldn't be getting a white screen. After you upload the install folder, you've made sure that all the files are actually in that folder on your site? Again, sorry if this is a stupid question, but I definitely can't think of any other reason you'd be getting a blank screen if the files were there! Big Grin

Even when your forum is working, you should run the upgrade script. Did you turn off Gzip compression?

Yes, I've checked every single file, I have downloaded it again, uploaded it again, checked twice, everything.

Are you sure to upload inc/class_core.php or another class or funciton files?

I think, you have to reupload all files out inc/settings.php and inc/configs.php
