For some reason I can't seem to fix my forum; I'm having a problem where I cannot login or register a new account, at first I thought it was the theme, but I just reinstalled the default theme via sql queries, but to no avail. As my forum is quite new, I didn't have much on it but a few users and posts, so I just decided to do a bit of troubleshooting and do a fresh install of 1.8.x, still nothing. When I click next to install the forum, it adds an /index at the end of the address bar, and stays on the current page. I've looked into the problem another staff member hadd a solution to where he pointed out the cookie directory in inc/settings.php may need to be altered, but as it's a fresh install, there are no settings to be edited.

Help is much appreciated;

My site is linked here
The install page is still there, and I've gone ahead and deleted any sql tables/db that were linked to the previous forum.
Do you have a customised .htaccess? Maybe to remove .php from the end of URLs? I'm not sure how you would have installed in the first place if this was happening, but either way this looks like an issue with your server or setup because '/index' isn't a location MyBB uses for anything, it looks like the .php is being removed. In hindsight it would have been better to just leave the forum as it was as we would have had something to debug then.
Yes, it seems like this is the issue, because if I manually go to http://www.revision-rsps.com/forum/install/index.php I get 301 redirected to http://www.revision-rsps.com/forum/install/index

This isn't something MyBB does by default, as all files end in .php. If you've added something to do this, you'll need to remove it.

I am dumb, thanks so much.
