Hello,

I have the basic know-how of uploading the logo. But it doesn't see to work. I uploaded my logo in the img directory and then pointed the theme Board-Logo to that link. I also tried to work with the header template but it doesnt seems to work well..

Please guide me through the problem. here is my Header Template excerpt..

Have you tried looking into your theme/theme_name and looked into the setting in the bottom for an option to add a board logo via url? Please be in a habit of putting your forum link every support post it is a good habit.

Robbie is correct just do it through the Theme settings and not in the HTML in the templates.
Also a link would be better in the future to enhance support capabilities.

Look like you are using modern theme, honestly i never used that theme but from above code you can change the logo from line 18

see there is an i class and simple text(Modern) in end on it.

Yes,
I have to substitute that text with the logo.. the logo path is entered but I can't see the logo.

Heres the path of logo image : images/ch1.png

Now I am a complete newbie, where should I add it?

I also want to edit the Blue bar with a custom background.. how can  I do it? here's the link : creatorshangout.net

Also can you teach me how to find out a particular size of custom graphics I have to insert in the forum?

change the line/string <i class="sometext"></i> to <img src="sometext"> as i class is defined with class generally for icon fonts.

and for your blue color if there is a option in theme settings like change color you can do that from there if not then you'll need to edit the particular css classes for elements, (you can hire/ask someone to do that for you including me )

Its because there is no file in images directory with name ch1.png, try to re upload it and if it is already uploaded then make sure its file permissions are 755

really ease to do right click on forum logo copy image address paste in address bar find the file location
ie /images/logo.png upload image to images change name of logo.png then chenge the name of the image u uploaded to logo.png
