You're going to have more issues than this if you're running a 1.6 theme, you need a theme written for 1.8.
How can I keep the same theme? Is there a dark theme for mybb 1.8? Can I downgrade to 1.6?
I just want to fix the Icons is there a way like in templates and style and fix it?
You can't downgrade to 1.6, and you shouldn't as we don't support it. Without your URL though we can't see what's actually wrong with them.

Okay so I downloaded a 1.8 theme and the icons still doesn't show.

Looks like they've just not been set up right because the image src it's trying to put in is just "uploads/ficons/"
