I upgraded from 1.2.7 to 1.2.8 yesterday and for the most part everything is fine.

I have tried to add to new plugins since though and neither work (guestbook and who is viewing thread). The guestbook just doesn't appear in the users profile and the other one causes a blank screen.

Both were reported as activated successfully. I installed several plugins before upgrading which all worked fine and still do.

I don't know if it's relevant but I changed the name of the admin folder as recommended and after upgrading moved the files in the new admin folder to my changed one and deleted the admin folder.

Anyone any ideas?

Thanks. I've tried that. I wondered if it might be an updating issue.

About the plugins, you should contact the author for support since MyBB can't really detect the incompatibility of plugins.
