All I want is a simple point system.

You gain one point for each post/thread you make, plus all Moderators/Admins can add points to the user. (Without SQL knowledge)

I'd also like a simple shop where you can buy rewards such as membership in a new user group, or anything I can custom make as items that get added to a user "Inventory" in User CP.

Is this possible?

Yes, I saw this. But would it be possible to purchase User Groups. Say, I have a group called "Premium Members", if you have enough points, you can buy a premium membership./

I think this doesn't exist, so you will have to write it yourself...

I'd do that if I knew PHP
