Hello guys and gals,

 My name is FaTTy and i am a co-owner of Uchiha-cLaN

we currently run mybb 1.8.9 

i recently upgraded using the upgrade changed files from 1.8.8 to 1.8.9  because mybb told me to in my admin cp

well now i have alot of issues.....

Fist thing is mysteampowered steam status list is so long and is covers the top part of my forums because the names are not displaying properly in the list and are vertical one sided and straight down : example:

then my acount has to login like 50 times to make a change to anything....


now the inline moderation will not work it keeps saying that i have not selected any threads or posts even tho i have and the thing still says (0) selected and then it gives me a big thing about how i didnt select them:

Sorry, but you did not select any threads to perform inline moderation on, or your previous moderation session has expired (Automatically after 1 hour of inactivity). Please select some threads and try again.

so now i dont know what to do i have looked at the web search for long time now and all the changes it says to make are either not what i have or not working.


Also the dvz Shoutbox will not keep up to date you have to refresh the page to see the shouts you have just made as before this was not liek this




 i have included my website at the top and i will be happy to pm a test account for staff here to help me out.

i am a nub when it comes to coding and i have given it a go and failed, and i thank any and all who help me with this as i know it is free software and this is time consuming.

as i have read this maybe issue but idk.....

followed this tut and fixed the inline moderation but still all other Problems  persist

Clear your browser cookies, the changes have been applied correctly so it might be a cache issue.

As for the plugins, you'd be better off creating threads in the plugins support forum for these.

i have already cleared the cache for cookies and re logged in and all that but i still have the issues with the dvz shoutbox not refreshing properly and also the Steamlist has changed to this ugly lime listing

and why would i have to go to the plugin section to ask for support when the update that was supposed to be "Security Based" has effected the plugins mentioned here and caused by The "Changefiles" upgrade method that was stated to not contain any other changes, and was ok to download and not only that put Putting it in the Admincp to Upgrade for security concerns and have this happen>???? tell me why the files i uploaded effected the plugins because they worked fine before the upgrade >.......

Because the issues you're having are to do with 3rd party code, not core MyBB, therefore like any other issue with a plugin it belongs in the plugin support forum. We can't test a release with every plugin ever released, we don't know how every plugin works, and the plugin may have its own issue or it may be totally unrelated to the update.

Also i have an issue with your plugin the advanced pm plugin is showing the whole alerts page when i click alerts link at top of page and it is really huge.....
