For a first theme, the red and black match very nicely.
The off, on, and offlock images should be the same size though. You have one thats 45x45, another is 38x38, and the other one is 40x38.

It's nice.
Although very basic and plain, I know it's your first and it's a great job. (way better than mine) however it's for a football forum right? It doesn't look like it except the banner, maybe a background could add a little splash to it.

P.s Those nav icons don't really go, they show to much white and the world cup looks like it's been played around with.

Yes, it's for a football forum. It's interesting but i like minimalistic. All genious is simple
