I've been at this for over a hour now and I'm at this point to go back to punbb.

I'm trying to merge a punbb 1.2 and I'm getting this error.

The punBB 1 database could not be found in 'animeboa_forum'. Please ensure punBB 1 exists at this database and with this table prefix.

I have no ideal why this is happening when all the stuff as correct

Can you printscreen the config details you're putting in, and the existing database in phpMyAdmin, and attach here?

Are you sure that your prefix was set correctly in the merge tool?
Please provide a screenshot of your database name and tables.

Got it working, I converted it to phpbb2 then phpbb3 and it works now.

Hello people and first of all thanks for all the information we can get on this board.

I have the same problem than Etrix :

I'm pretty sure that's because my PunBB DB has no prefix.
I've tried to let the field "prefix" blank or with an "*" or "null" and i'm still blocked.


Someone has an idea how i can overide this please ?
