Resembling Twitter where a user can use one permanent username when signing up (No spaces, emoji's, illegal characters, etc), and change their display name to whatever they want. The permanent name would be displayed on the profile and/or below their display name in posts. Allowing users to use names that may have been taken by inactive accounts, change their display identity regularly without confusion as to who they are, etc.
Before anyone half-reads my post and replies this has already been created... I am referring to having two separate usernames linked to one account. Display (Can be edited, unfiltered) and Permanent (Preceded with @, can only be changed by admins)
