I have an error where I am unable to upload avatars and I receive the error, "The file upload failed. Please choose a valid file and try again." or "Remote avatar URLs have been disabled by the forum administrator." depending on whether I am uploading or using a URL respectably. The second error I am having is that when someone posts a link in there post it just disappears no error or anything. Both of these errors are incredibly frustrating and have done nothing but confuse me since I upgraded to MyBB 1.8.10. I had already went through that article before and even after I reconfigured PHP it didn't work.

Probably has something to do with the hardcore edits you made with the theme and such. I'm not an expert, though, so I can't say for sure. I'd also like to know this in case this happens to me as well.

I do not believe it is the theme because even when I switch to the default theme the same thing happens and its just the strangest thing.
