I'd LOVE to see an optional setting in the ACP somewhere that allows us to choose if we'd like moderators/anyone who can access Mod CP to be able to change usergroups.

It would be very helpful as I'm honestly not comfortable allowing mods into my Admin Control Panel (even if they have custom permissions set on where they can go).

I agree. However, why would you give them the ability to acess the ACP if there just mods?

Both mods and super mods.

I run an RPG forum, I cannot do all the usergroup changing and basic maintenance by myself. I have bigger things to do behind the scenes.

Simple jobs like that are for my other staff.

Yes. The more community-oriented MyBB becomes where everything can be managed well enough by Mods and a couple trusted Super Mods without ACP access the better. Much agreed.
