NOTE: I'm posting this for a friend since he doesn't have an account on here.

Hi, so I just made my website and logged into my admin panel and got taken to the main admin panel page. After that, I clicked on one of the tabs and it logs me out of admin panel. I relog, try changing tab again and it logs me out. I do some googling and find out that I need to setup cookies. Well, first problem is that I can't get into the configuration so how am I meant to set them up? I go to phpmyadmin and change the setting manually. I change the cookie domain to .mydomain.com and head back to my website. I try to log in and it says i've successfully logged in, then I get redirected back to the login page.

what is the url of the referred forum ? have you seen faq: login
required changes can be first done in ~/inc/settings.php file and then at Configuration section of forum admin panel

I just tried editing the settings.php. The cookie settings are perfect,
$settings['cookiedomain'] = ".proplayz.tk";
$settings['cookiepath'] = "/";
$settings['cookieprefix'] = "";
