IS there a way to degrade an image in mybb, whether by default or by plugin? I mean like facebook, if the max is set to 500KB size for attachments, if you upload an image that is 600KB, can you degrade it to the set max size?

It would still need to be uploaded, so if you reject the attachment for being over 500kb, then no.

Ok so is there a way to accept any size, and then scale it down to under 500KB for showing?
