Too bad the ignore feature doesn't make the threads created by the ignored member disappear from the thread list. Ignore is not well implemented. Then again, that forum is useless.
I'm going to go out on a limb here and suggest you could start up a forum that does nearly the same thing but is supervised. Then send PMs to the 20 or so legitimate members to come over for real. Then hop over to the base URL for non-forum stuff.
There's nothing there that prevents someone from signing up and flooding the forum. The owner has it wide open.
