show up when someone types "youtubepoop forum" or "youchew.net" (a competitor youtubepoop site)?

Is there an seo optimization in mybb? will it get me banned from google?

How would I seo optimize my forum?

Try to use laymans terms if possible I DON"T know coding and am bad with computers lol

lotsa content is added daily its just been really hard to get new members.

With SEO there isn't a magic button you press to suddenly rank, it takes time and a lot of rich, well structured, relevant content. Whatever SEO techniques you use will do nothing if there's not enough content for Google to actually deem relevant for search queries.
