After three months of work, VectorBox - MyBB 1.8* theme built upon Material design layout (by Google), is done.

There is a dark theme.

Also, this theme is gorgeous but $130 is too steep for me, even though I know there's clearly a lot of love and care put into this theme. Good luck with selling it.

Responsive themes are always expensive lol, a non responsive theme could cost around $50-$80 depends on the creator but if I could make a theme and its responsive I'd charge around $100 or $90.

The "why is it so expensive" replies. I took me 3 months (and +300 templates) to develop this theme. I have stopped selling it per copy and decided to focus on selling it only once. If somebody has a better offer i'm willing to listen it.

Honestly I think that would be the way to go. I would be much more willing to pay the extra price if I knew the theme will be unique to only my forum.

Monetizing idea:

The client can license the theme for a certain period of time, and in that time the theme won't be resold, making it unique to their forum. After the license period is over - they keep the theme, however depending on whether they re license will determine if the theme will stay unique to their forum or will be sold to others.

Or for a greater incentive for them to re license, given away for free.

It is one copy ("IT'S ALWAYS ONE COPY WITH FULL DISTRIBUTION / SALE AND OWNERSHIP RIGHTS" as mentioned in first post). The buyer (and nobody else) will own it. It's not 130 per copy (even HQ WP premade themes aren't costing that much).

Honestly though now a days no point even selling themes or making them because they get leaked and nulled also ripped easily.

Giving this thread a new bump (reason: price update). If someone is willing to purchase it (just for today) i'll give it for 90 USD.
