Hello someone  deleted all the threads on my forums. I took a backup of the database a few days ago before this occured. I took a backup in the Admin-CP.
So I have a .sql.gz backup



SO how to restore the database please?

cPanel > New MySQL database > phpmyadmin
Then import your database and use the mybb merge system, if you need help PM me.

Ok good I'll do it tomorrow and let you know.

Well now that I know your using MyBB 1.6, you won't be able to merge databases if your using 1.6, you'll have to be on 1.8 in order to merge.

Then how can I fix it? :an I just get the threads table

If the database is 1.8 then I'm sure you can't merge it with 1.6 you could try though but I doubt it will work.
