In present android is everywhere, most of the users of our forums come from android devices. So if the methods of mybb updated as android api friendly. It will be a headstart and help to competnthehe other forums. I personally trying to devlop plugin for android api integration, but its not going well.
The plan is to have a full REST API for 2.0, with OAuth authentication. This would make creating apps that hook into the forum backend fairly painless to write.

That's important for keeping our members close to the staff.
There will be no chat built in, but there are private conversations rather than private messages (PMs behave more like private topics, and can have multiple members).

TBH , this is not a light work ,
