Hello!
Our forum is now running with SSL.
We had previously integrated a shoutbox via frame. This shoutbox is not secured (ssl/https).Is it still possible to continue using this shoutbox? Because it will not be displayed any more ...

Thx in advance for your help!

Greets,
blongso

ps.: My English is a catastrophe .... I hope I have expressed myself comprehensibly
You might be able to continue but you'll get non-secure warnings and some browsers might block it. I would look for a shoutbox that uses https. I'm not sure what you're using but I know cbox is popular and they have https.
Thx for your answer spork985,
I feared it ...

There is still the possibility to instal for example the plugin DVZShoutbox ... We are a French forum, is there a problem with the english language pack?
Is the shoutbox then in English?

With cbox you have to register, right?
I don't think the plugin has any problem but I feel if you are using a non-secure content, basically just don't modify the url inside your forum using any plugin or filter from http to https. What will happen is the shoutbox page will become non secure but other pages will still be secure.
Hope it helps

Regards
