Ok this is the problem i found on mybb 1.8.10

If i try to up to date this avatar as external if size width and height are bad like here that error appears, maximm allowed is 100x100.

But if i go to my site allways i see url specified is incorrect....

So i have it via plugin this and take dimensions to resize it but the problem is when i try to change some user details from my admincp allways same error appears of the avatar url specified is invalid. But is a valid image file and is under secure protocol.

I call this a issue with mybb but perhaps there re some reason for this.

When i try to use this external urls i everytime receive this error ....

Another error is with gravatar...

Right now i have an user registered from here who uses gravatar like:

https://www.gravatar.com/avatar/2e119fab...0&r=g&d=mm

But no avatar is showed due specil chars are not taking on url i see his profile and his threads or posts and no avatar but with my plugin of avatars it is taken fine. (in all parts of avatar must bee showed takes

yes it is a mybb bug.

Here the same happens but they do not take seriously.

Anyway many hooks are broken in latests version so i have to use older version but working...

Which hooks? Any specific one? It would be easier to debug and fix

For list one of them, others parse_message parts, etc.

I just do not remember every ine but that thread shows you one and what tima has passed and no response as many times unfortunatelly...

Some plugins working are not working now because of that broken or changed hooks with now null values and in past have some refs about hook and vars or templates. You can experiment it if you like is easy to do because all hooks works similar.

Sorry for the late reply Whiteneo. I have tested all the images you provided and I never encountered such issues you mentioned. Can you provide more details and/or instructions to reproduce the issue with the latest MyBB version (1.8.12)? Thank you.
