I tried re-uploading each of the files, but I'm getting the same results regardless.

I'm confused because the Plugin says its compatible with 1.8.x so I thought it would work.

Am I doing something wrong? I've never used MyBB before.

Where did you download it from? There should be a version number at the top of the file if you open it up, in the comment at the very start.

It's the most recent version; after mulling it over for 24 hours, when I opened up the page it decided to let me install the mod. No idea why tonight is so much more agreeable than yesterday night, but I'm not going to question it too much lol.
