Full Version: Security Notification Emails and non-requested changes,

So as we all know password 'cracking' is always a risk and the security notification emails alert us when changes are made to our account. However if we did not request a change the only option is to contact an administrator. I recommend changing the line informing you to contact an administrator with a link that will allow you to reset your password. What are your thoughts on this?
I'd support it. Changing your login credentials and email definitely should do this. I'd even say that if email gets changed it sends this email to the old email address in case someone else logged in with your credentials.

That's my thought, it's like you may of been hacked, if your worried contact the administrator who may or may not help you. A special link to reset your password would be great Big Grin

I've never found it to be an issue for me (since if I make a mistake I can just use MariaDB Console to update it) but I see how it could affect normal users so I support fixing that issue.
