I attempted to delete a child forum in Admin CP, but instead deleted the parent forum.   We currently do not have any backups (bad, I know).   Is there anything I can do to restore the deleted forum?

Nope. If you don't have a backup, and your web host doesn't have a backup, you don't have a backup. It's gone forever.

Backup your files. Backup your database. Do this regularly.
