Hello,

I've done a search looking for a fix for my issue.


My forum has many different categories and forums within those.
WWhat I'm hoping to achieve is that when I click on a thread (which might be 4 pages long) I want to jump to the last post within that particular thread.
Currently the thread is flagged as having a new post but once I click on the thread it opens to the firest page and the flirst post of that thread rather than taking me to page 4 and the last post since my last visit.
I hope that made sense lol.

Ok so here's what I found when I searched and I think it's very simular to what I'm hoping to achieve but this article is addressing the portal and or latest news so I'm not sure it a fix for my query or not.
I want it to effect every forum not just the portal if possible
Here's the solution to fix portal.....will this work for me or I need to edit a global file?

last post link is available at the last post column of the index page, forum display page & search results page.
also in general, if a thread has multiple pages then forum display pages have the page links

[forum index - last post links] | [forum display - last post links] | [multi pages thread - pages links]

I believe they should be sufficient for your requirement !

You can also use &action=lastpost in the url to be taken to it if SEO urls are not enabled. If they are enabled, you'll use ?action=lastpost instead. So for this thread you'd be able to use https://community.mybb.com/thread-208943...n=lastpost to go to the last post of this thread.
