Hello, I'm XXX - co-owner of riskymethods.cf
I am wondering how I can promote my forum
The Topic is General/Gaming/Cracking
Just a note due to the content of your site and the fact you removed the MyBB Copyright Notice, you'll likely be denied support per their support policy. That being said I've promoted my site by the following:
1) I've utilized Twitter to connect with various people and through one of one chats, I've made friends and had them join the forum.
2) I've made friends and discord and had them join the forum.
3) I've asked my friends to tell people they know about the forum.

Growth for new forums is very slow but over time people will join. One thing I've learned over time is getting the numbers up isn't important, rather it's gaining members who come to the site and return on a daily basis.
It's not even about the members -- well, it is, but not all your traffic is going to convert. Ours doesn't - so for us, it's all about creating a resource people can use when they need it -- and if they need more specialised support, can sign up and ask the question. I'm fortunate enough to run a site where not everyone is the same, and it's great.

IE: I don't want to run a gaming forum (ugh, twelves), promotion forum (ugh, webmasters posting generic content), or cracking (ugh, pay for things!) - I want to help people out, and I do that by creating content; not by worrying about numbers. Numbers are secondary to the site experience, IMHO. And they're not mutually exclusive. Create a good site experience and flow, and people will sign up. Offer something your competitor doesn't. Gaming is really *really* saturated, so you've got your work cut out for you.
