sorry to ask stupid questions. But do plugins have to be updated when the mybb versions are updated?

Sometimes due core addittions but the most things are to php poo due is not compatible with all php versions and some codes are odd so we as programmers have to stay at a day and up to date if becesary but sometimes isn't hard at all or necesary to do.

At least i review all my plugins in every release and keep updated.
