The Time Zone checkbox of the Ranged Event feature seems to have the opposite of the intended effect. Checking it actually enforces the Time Zone selected above instead of using the Time Zone of the viewer as the label suggests.
Moreover, there doesn't currently seem to be a way to create a conventional non-ranged recurring event. Even when selecting the same date with no specified time for start and end, the date on the event's page displays as "April 1, 2017, 12:00 AM - April 1, 2017, 11:59 PM" rather than just "April 1, 2017", which may be practical from a functional standpoint but it needlessly complicated from a viewer's perspective.
All said, the system seems to be functional barring those hiccups but I just wanted to be sure the devs knew about these issues.
