I installed the DVZ Shoutbox but I want it to show threads that are created on the sb. 
For instance if I were suppose to create a thread in a section a new message would appear saying a thread has just been created.

You have to use another plugin - DVZ Stream - https://community.mybb.com/mods.php?action=view&pid=543 - it requires small CSS changes and you are done

I want it to show on the shoutbox

Then you have to create a custom plugin for that...

Yh I know But I see so many forums doing it
Surely they are using plugin
I know they are using javascript
